Metropolitan Opera House Backstage Tour
The tour is schedule for Sunday,
April 15 at 10 am and is FULLY BOOKED!Unfortunately, we had to cut some applicants by random lottery. Everyone has been notified by email
(or phone, if no email address listed). We’re collecting RSVPs to ferncare@aol.com by this Wednesday evening, April 11 and
filling any unclaimed spots.
Those who applied and could not be
offered a place on this tour will receive priority registration for one of the two in-school workshops of their choosing.

Parent-Teacher Conferences
Reminder - Parent-Teacher Conferences are scheduled for Tuesday, March 20 (afternoon) and Wednesday, March 21 (evening).
Conferences will be held Tuesday from 12:30-2:30 pm and on Wednesday from 5-7:30 pm. There will be a half day for students
on Tuesday, March 20. Students will be dismissed at noon. Please check with your child’s teacher if you haven’t
signed up or need more information.
Please be mindful that young children require supervision and appropriate plans should be made to accommodate. It is
unsafe to have small children unsupervised in school. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

Please join us for a Parent Workshop on word study/spelling. We have the unique opportunity to host two experts in this
field, Regina and David Smith. You will have a chance to gain further insight into their approach to word study/spelling
and engage in a question and answer session.

The Nominating Committee is seeking nominations for parents to serve on next year’s Parents Association Executive
Board. This is a wonderful opportunity to get more involved in your child’s education and make a difference in
your school experience. Executive Board members must attend a monthly P.A. Executive Board meeting, as well as the monthly
P.A. general meetings and chair a committee or an event.
If you are interested, please complete an application by the end of March. Please step forward and become a member of
